Consensus 2016 is focused on “making blockchain real” – identifying the most important real-world use cases for this emerging financial technology amidst an unprecedented level of hype.
While many other bitcoin and blockchain industry conferences have been produced in the past several years, Consensus 2016 seeks to unify the various constituencies that have been working in concert to build this new technology. The event is being co-hosted by the industry’s most active investor, Digital Currency Group, and the leading public policy advocate, Coin Center, with the goal of bringing together the startup executives, technical innovators, financial services leaders, policy makers, and investment groups for one annual, global, can’t-miss gathering.
The event’s agenda will feature two and a half days of expert presentations, panels, and demos regarding the most important commercial developments, technical innovations, and public policy issues affecting the evolution of the blockchain industry. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities at our knowledge bar and exhibition areas, and at two evening receptions.
Consensus 2016 will be held May 2 – 4, 2016 at the New York Marriott Marquis and it is designed for the startup executives, technical innovators, financial services leaders, policy makers and investment groups building the foundation of a better financial system using blockchain technology.
Registration fees start from $1499 until the 27th of March 2016 and will likely go up.
