Euro Banking Association and Finextra are sending an open invitation to Europe’s most promising early-stage startups to present their ideas in front of banking delegates attending EBAday2016, one of Europe’s leading payments and transaction banking event.
With 2016 being its eleventh year of operation, EBAday, a conference built by bankers for bankers is expected to attract 1000 banking professionals and 45 exhibitors to the MiCo – Milano Congressi 7-8 June.
The interesting part comes into play when the featured part of the show is the ‘Fintech Pavillion’, where the top european startups will be able to come in contact and demonstrate their products to payment heads from across the European banking industry.
Facing the upcoming rise of fintech, banks are starting to put a lot more energy and dedication into investing in the fintech area for the creation of new banking products and services and in driving the internal innovation agenda.
Trying to help lowering the difficulty of making this happen, Finextra and the EBA are making the invitation for early-stage and pre-revenue startups with a working product to apply for participation in the Fintech Pavillion.
The application process for submissions is now open.
